Just a Couple of Cards!

So I wanted to share these two cards I did!  I'm not entering these into any challenges.  The Fishin' You a Great day is a birthday card for my nephew, and the baby one was going to be a challenge card, but I missed it.  Oh well, I wanted to finish it anyway!!  So here they are:

puddle

So this is another page for Ayla's scrapbook.  I have jumped ahead about a year from where I left off, but when I saw the sketch at Sketchy Thursdays, and then saw these photos I knew they would be perfect.  The original sketch was a two page layout, but it was also ok to interpret it in one page, so that is what I did!!  I am not brave enough to attempt double layouts just yet!!  So here is the sketch I was following, and modified:

And here is my page.  Every spring we end up with a huge puddle in the low spot in our driveway.  It's the best place to play!!  :)  I have no idea on specifics for supplies, and the picture isn't the best, but you get the idea!!

Just For You

Well it has been about a month since I've posted or even created anything new!!  Have been blog hopping the last few days to get my mojo flowing again, and I think it worked!!  I made this card for the challenge at Crafty Creations where the theme is "Paper Piecing", and I'm also going to enter it at Stamping Royalty where the theme is "Spring Has Sprung".  Here is my card:

The stamp is from Stampin Up called "Season of Friendship".  The leaves, flowers and birds were stamped then cut out and pieced on.  The leaves were inked with Old Olive, Wild Wasabi and Pear Pizzaz (all from Stampin Up).  The flowers and "just for you" sentiment were stamped in Poppy Parade.  The flowers also have a bit of bling with rinestone centers.  The birds were stamped with Concord Crush, Brilliant Blue and Ballet Blue.  I really like how this turned out!!  The inside is blank so this could be for any kind of occaision!  Thanks for looking!!  :)
