So the other night, I invited a few friends over to make cards. My CTMH upline gave me a sheet that made 8 cards with 2 sheets of paper, and I thought it would be fun to try!! I pulled out all my paper, stamps, etc and let the ladies choose!! I sat by and cut everything for them and sat back and watched the creativity fly!!
This is the workshop sheet!! If you would like a copy feel free to email me at goddessdunbar@hotmail.com and I will send it to you!! :)
And here are the cards I made using this guide!! :)
These cards are on the easy/simple side of things, but great for when you need to make something quick and simple!! :)

If you don't leap...
So I have been going Pinterest crazy the past couple of days with all the fabulous artwork and yummy food!! I had to create another card board just to accomodate all the fabulous cards out there!! :) I made this card last night using one of my pinned cards as inspiration!! :)
I didn't make this for anyone, or anything in particular. Just wanted to play!! :) So first of all I dug through my stash and found a music background stamp from Tim Holtz. I like the effect, but I personally think the stamp is backwards. Oh well, you get the idea!! I used one of my Fiskars oval shapes and traced it onto a scrap piece of paper and cut out the center. I then placed it on my card and stamped the music notes in Crumb Cake from SU. The ballerina and setiment are from the Aspire stamp set from CTMH. The ballerina was stamped, then cut out and glued on. I used my cricut to cut the label, then used dimensional tape to adhere it onto the card. The ink and ribbon are Regal Rose, from SU. I then took my sponge dauber in Regal Rose and went around the edge of the card. It was an overall easy card to make, it took me about 10 minutes!!

Halloween Cards
So I have never made Halloween cards before. I celebrate it, just don't go all crazy about it. Over the summer I was able to get the Wishes Card Confidence Program from CTMH. I came across the the "celebration card workshop" in the Wishes book, and thought I would make some Halloween cards. This workshop was fairly easy, and I ended up with very little scrap paper which is nice because I already have way more than I need!! :) The workshop makes 12 cards. I used some old Halloween paper I had from Stampin Up, and whatever embellisments and other goodies I could find!! :) Here are just a few of the cards that I made with this workshop and paper:
The paper was double sided and lots of fun to play with!! Thanks for looking!! :)

man card
I made this card using my Cricut. Was just playing around, and was kind of trying to CAS (copy and steal??) another card I had seen. The deer are from my Noble Deer stamp set from Stampin' Up. The grass I did with my grass punch, and the birds were stamped and cut out. I found this pretty blue paper that reminded me of the sky and that is what is in the background. No sentiment yet, not sure who I'll be giving this to or what for!! :)

Exciting News!!
Hello all my lovely scrappy friends!! It has been a good summer!! How was your summer?? I'm sorry I haven't posted in forever!! I just get caught up in life, and my computer doesn't always want to cooperate!! How many of you have little ones going to school this year?? Tomorrow is my daughter's first day of kindergarten. I plan on taking a picture of her holding a paper that says what she wants to be when she grows up!! :) Currently, that is a Barbie!! And why not, she has everything!!
Anyway, I have recently signed up to be a Close To My Heart consultant. At this point I don't have much intention of doing parties and going all out like I know a lot of you do, it is more for personal benefit. I have no problem if someone wants to come out to my house and scrapbook for an evening, it is much preferable than trying to arrange a sitter for the kids and all that. That being said, I am excited and may look into doing parties in the future, but for now, I am happy just getting a small discount on my supplies!!
Happy crafting!! :)
